Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Vyoshadi Vati (R.T.S.-1) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation mainly used in respiratory, digestive, and metabolic disorders. It is highly effective in cough, cold, asthma, bronchitis, loss of appetite, indigestion, and obesity. The medicine works by balancing Vata and Kapha doshas, stimulating digestive fire (Agni), clearing phlegm from the respiratory tract, and improving metabolism.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Ras Tantra Sara guidelines using Vyoshadi Churna (a blend of herbs including Trikatu – Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi – along with other supportive herbs). The ingredients are processed, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, honey, or as directed by the physician.

- Cough and cold
- Bronchitis and asthma
- Loss of appetite and indigestion
- Obesity and metabolic imbalance
- Excess Kapha-related disorders
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause gastric irritation or burning sensation due to its pungent herbs.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with gastritis or hyperacidity should use cautiously.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
