Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Triphala Tablet (A.Bh.) is one of the most popular and classical Ayurvedic formulations, prepared from three powerful fruits — Haritaki, Bibhitaki, and Amalaki.
It is considered a gentle yet effective detoxifier and rejuvenator that balances all three doshas. Triphala supports digestion, improves bowel movements, enhances immunity, and promotes overall wellness.
Method of Preparation :
Equal parts of dried Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), and Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) are taken.
These fruits are cleaned, dried, powdered, and blended in precise proportion as per Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia (A.Bh.) standards.
The mixture is then processed and compressed into tablet form for convenient use.
Dosage :
1 to 2 tablets once or twice daily with warm water, preferably at bedtime, or as directed by the physician.

- Constipation and irregular bowel movement
- Indigestion and poor appetite
- Detoxification and cleansing of the digestive system
- Acidity and gastric discomfort
- General rejuvenation and immunity support
- Eye health and skin health
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken in the prescribed dosage. Overdose may cause loose stools or abdominal discomfort.
Contra Indication :
– Avoid in case of diarrhea or severe weakness.
– Pregnant women should consume only under medical supervision.
