Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Shwaskuthar Ras (R.T.S.-1) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used in respiratory disorders. It is highly effective in managing asthma, chronic cough, bronchitis, breathlessness, and chest congestion. The medicine helps balance aggravated Vata and Kapha doshas, clears phlegm, reduces inflammation in the respiratory tract, and strengthens lung function.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Ras Tantra Sara guidelines using purified minerals and selected herbs. The ingredients are carefully processed, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1 tablet, once or twice daily with honey, ginger juice, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Asthma (Shwasa Roga)
- Chronic cough and bronchitis
- Breathlessness and wheezing
- Chest congestion and excess phlegm
- Vata-Kapha imbalance in respiratory system
Side Effects :
Should be taken only under medical supervision, as it contains mineral ingredients. Overdose may cause gastric irritation or other complications.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
