About Rasna Saptak (Kwath) Kadha:
Rasna Saptak (Kwath) Kadha is a polyherbal Ayurvedic medicine referenced from Shrangdhar Sanhita, Amavatadhikara. It contains Rasna and six other ingredients, hence named Rasna Saptak Kwath. Prepared by boiling the herbal mix in water until one-fourth of the initial volume remains, it is available as a dry coarse herb mixture, ready-made preparation, and tablet. This formulation is beneficial for arthritis, gout, rheumatism, backache, lumbago, sciatica, spondylosis, stiff joints, and other inflammatory disorders.

Indications / Benefits:

- Children: 10–15 ml, Adults: 15–25 ml in morning and evening, before meals, or as directed by the physician
- Take regularly for two months
- Avoid foods that increase Vata such as deep fried items, peas, urad dal, cauliflower, spicy foods, fermented items, and pickles
- Include easily digestible foods and spices such as Hing and Jeera
Safety Profile:
Rasna Saptak (Kwath) Kadha is generally safe for short-term and long-term use when taken under proper supervision. It should not exceed 90 ml per day.
Side Effects:
- No significant side effects when taken in standard dosage
- Rarely may cause loose stools, especially in Pitta body types or normal bowel movement cases
