Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Rajahpravartini Vati (Bh.Rtn.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used in female reproductive and gynecological disorders. It is highly effective in regulating menstrual cycles, inducing delayed menstruation, controlling excessive bleeding, and managing hormonal imbalances. The medicine helps balance Vata and Pitta doshas in the reproductive system, strengthens uterine function, and supports overall female health and vitality.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Bhavprakash Nighantu guidelines using purified minerals and herbs such as Loha Bhasma, Shatavari, Lodhra, Ashoka, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and minerals are processed, blended, and compressed into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, honey, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Delayed or irregular menstruation
- Excessive menstrual bleeding (Menorrhagia)
- Hormonal imbalances in females
- Vata-Pitta related reproductive disorders
- Support for uterine health and female vitality
Side Effects :
Should be taken only under medical supervision, as it contains mineral ingredients. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation or discomfort.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
