Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Prabhakar Vati (R.T.S.-1) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used in cardiovascular and respiratory disorders. It is highly effective in managing high blood pressure (hypertension), palpitations, chest congestion, asthma, and cough. The medicine helps balance Pitta and Vata doshas, strengthens the heart, supports respiratory function, and improves circulation and overall vitality.

Method of Preparation :

Prepared as per Ras Tantra Sara guidelines using purified minerals and herbs such as Guggulu, Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi, and other supportive ingredients. The ingredients are carefully processed, blended, and compressed into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.

Dosage :

1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, honey, or as directed by the physician.

Indications :

• High blood pressure (Hypertension)
• Palpitations and chest discomfort
• Asthma and respiratory congestion
• Cough and bronchial irritation
• Pitta-Vata imbalance affecting heart and lungs

Side Effects :

Should be taken only under medical supervision. Overdose may cause dizziness, hypotension, or gastric discomfort in sensitive individuals.

Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid.
– Patients with hypotension, severe heart, kidney, or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
– Should be used cautiously with modern antihypertensive medications.
