Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Mahamanjishthadighan Vati (Sha.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for skin disorders, blood purification, and liver support. It is highly effective in managing eczema, acne, rashes, pigmentation, and other chronic skin conditions. The medicine helps detoxify the blood, reduce inflammation, balance Pitta and Kapha doshas, and promote healthy, glowing skin.

Method of Preparation :

Prepared as per Sharangdhar Samhita guidelines using herbs such as Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia), Guduchi, Haritaki, Amalaki, and other supportive herbs. The ingredients are carefully processed, powdered, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.

Dosage :

1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water or as directed by the physician.

Indications :

• Chronic skin disorders like eczema, acne, and rashes
• Hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration
• Blood purification and detoxification
• Liver support and metabolic balance
• Pitta-Kapha related skin and blood disorders

Side Effects :

Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation or loose stools in sensitive individuals.

Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with severe gastrointestinal, kidney, or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
