Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Mahayograj Guggul (S.Yo.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for musculoskeletal and joint health. It is highly effective in managing arthritis, joint pain, inflammation, gout, and Vata-Kapha imbalances. The medicine works by reducing inflammation, strengthening muscles and bones, improving circulation, and promoting overall mobility and vitality.

Method of Preparation :

Prepared as per S.Yogendra Samhita guidelines using Guggul (Commiphora mukul) along with herbs like Shallaki (Boswellia serrata), Guduchi, Haritaki, Amalaki, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and guggul are carefully processed, blended, and formed into guggul tablets while retaining their therapeutic potency.

Dosage :

1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.

Indications :

• Arthritis, osteoarthritis, and joint pain
• Inflammation and swelling in joints
• Gout and musculoskeletal disorders
• Vata-Kapha dosha imbalance affecting joints and muscles
• Support for overall bone and joint health

Side Effects :

Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation, diarrhea, or nausea in sensitive individuals.

Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
– Patients with severe liver, kidney, or gastrointestinal disorders should use cautiously.
– Should be avoided in aggravated Pitta conditions without medical supervision.
