Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Chandanadi Vati (S.Yo.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used in urinary, reproductive, and Pitta-related disorders. It is highly effective in reducing burning sensation during urination, urinary tract infections, inflammation, and Pitta imbalance. The medicine also helps in managing infertility, excessive heat in the body, and skin disorders caused by aggravated Pitta.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per classical Ayurvedic guidelines using purified minerals and selected herbs such as Chandan (Sandalwood), Tankana (Borax), Yavakshara, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and minerals are carefully processed, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional methods.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Burning sensation during urination
- Urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Pitta-related urinary and reproductive disorders
- Inflammation and heat in the body
- Infertility and skin disorders due to Pitta imbalance
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation or discomfort in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
