About Ashmarihar Kwath:
Ashmarihar Kwath is a classical Ayurvedic formulation mentioned in Siddha Yog Sangrah, prepared from carefully selected herbs with diuretic and anti-urolithiatic properties. This decoction is especially indicated in kidney stones (Vrikk Ashmari), gallbladder stones, urinary tract infections, painful urination, and burning sensation.

What are Diuretics?
Diuretics, also called water pills, help increase urine output and electrolyte excretion. They are useful in conditions like kidney stones, fluid retention, swelling (edema), high blood pressure, and urinary tract disorders.
Dosage:
- Children: 10–15 ml twice a day
- Adults: 15–25 ml twice a day
Best taken on an empty stomach in the morning and evening, or as directed by the physician.
Side Effects:
No side effects are observed with standard dosage. Overdose beyond 90 ml per day may cause mild abdominal irritation.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Ashmarihar Kwath does not contain harmful ingredients. It is considered safe during pregnancy and lactation, but should always be taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic physician.
