Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Agnitundi Vati (R.T.S.-1) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used to stimulate digestive fire (Agni) and improve appetite. It is highly effective in managing indigestion, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, loss of appetite, and other digestive disorders caused by Vata and Kapha imbalance. The medicine helps in removing Ama (toxins), regulating metabolism, and strengthening the digestive system.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Ras Tantra Sara guidelines using purified minerals along with digestive herbs like Trikatu (Shunthi, Maricha, Pippali), Ajwain, Hingu, and other supportive ingredients. These are processed and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, buttermilk, or as directed by the physician.

- Loss of appetite
- Indigestion and weak digestion
- Abdominal pain, bloating, and gas
- Ama-related digestive disorders
- Kapha-Vata imbalance affecting digestion
Side Effects :
Should be taken only under medical supervision. Overdose may cause burning sensation, acidity, or gastric irritation in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with hyperacidity, gastritis, or ulcers should use cautiously under medical advice.
