Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Maharasnadighan Vati (Sha.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used in digestive, metabolic, and Kapha-related disorders. It is highly effective in improving digestion, reducing Ama (undigested toxins), alleviating abdominal heaviness, and managing obesity. The medicine helps balance Kapha and Vata doshas, stimulates digestive fire (Agni), detoxifies the body, and promotes overall metabolic health.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per classical Ayurvedic guidelines using purified minerals and herbs such as Triphala, Trikatu (Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi), Guggulu, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and minerals are carefully processed, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Indigestion and loss of appetite
- Abdominal heaviness and bloating
- Obesity and metabolic imbalance
- Excess Kapha-related disorders
- Detoxification and Ama removal
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation or loose stools in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with severe gastrointestinal, kidney, or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
