Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Shirshuladivajra Ras (Bh.Rtn.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation mentioned in Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It is primarily used in neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. The medicine helps in managing paralysis, facial palsy, joint pain, sciatica, and chronic Vata disorders. It works by pacifying aggravated Vata dosha, reducing stiffness and pain, and strengthening nerves and muscles.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Bhaishajya Ratnavali guidelines using purified minerals along with selected herbs. The ingredients are carefully processed, blended, and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1 tablet, once or twice daily with warm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Paralysis and facial palsy
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Sciatica and chronic Vata disorders
- Neuromuscular weakness
- Chronic body ache
Side Effects :
Should be taken only under medical supervision, as it contains mineral ingredients. Overdose may cause gastric irritation or other complications.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid.
