Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Pushyanug Churna (R.T.S.-1) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for digestive health and appetite improvement. It is highly effective in managing indigestion, loss of appetite, abdominal discomfort, nausea, and Pitta-Vata imbalance. The medicine works by stimulating digestive fire (Agni), regulating bowel movements, reducing bloating, and enhancing overall digestive efficiency.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Ras Tantra Sara guidelines using a combination of herbs such as Pushyanuga, Pippali, Shunthi, Maricha, and other digestive supportive ingredients. The herbs are dried, powdered, blended, and sieved to obtain a fine herbal churna.
Dosage :
2–3 grams, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, honey, or as directed by the physician.

- Indigestion and poor appetite
- Abdominal discomfort, nausea, and bloating
- Pitta-Vata digestive imbalance
- Weak digestion and metabolic support
- General digestive detoxification
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation or loose stools in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
– Patients with chronic diarrhea, ulcers, or severe gastrointestinal disorders should use cautiously.
– Should be taken under supervision in case of severe weakness or low immunity.
