Lasunadi Vati (Vai.Ji.)

Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Lasunadi Vati (Vai.Ji.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for digestive, respiratory, and metabolic disorders. It is highly effective in managing indigestion, loss of appetite, cough, cold, sinus congestion, high cholesterol, and obesity. The medicine works by balancing Vata and Kapha doshas, improving digestion, enhancing metabolism, reducing phlegm, and supporting overall respiratory health.

Method of Preparation :

Prepared as per classical Ayurvedic guidelines using herbs such as Lasuna (Garlic), Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs are carefully processed, powdered, blended, and made into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.

Dosage :

1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, honey, or as directed by the physician.

Indications :

• Indigestion and weak digestion
• Loss of appetite
• Cough, cold, and sinus congestion
• High cholesterol and metabolic imbalance
• Excess Kapha and Vata disorders

Side Effects :

Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause gastric irritation, acidity, or mild burning sensation.

Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should use only under medical advice.
– Patients with hyperacidity, ulcers, or severe gastrointestinal disorders should use cautiously.
– Use cautiously in individuals on anticoagulant or blood-thinning therapy.
