Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Kaishore Guggul (Bh.Rtn.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for detoxification, skin health, and managing metabolic disorders. It is highly effective in treating skin diseases, obesity, arthritis, inflammation, and Vata-Pitta imbalances. The medicine works by cleansing the blood (Rakta Shodhak), reducing inflammation, supporting digestive fire (Agni), and promoting overall health and immunity.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Bhavprakash Nighantu guidelines using Guggul (Commiphora mukul) along with herbs such as Triphala (Amalaki, Haritaki, Bibhitaki), Guduchi, Manjishtha, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and guggul are carefully processed, blended, and formed into guggul tablets.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Skin disorders such as eczema, acne, and rashes
- Obesity and metabolic disorders
- Arthritis, joint pain, and inflammation
- Detoxification and blood purification
- Vata-Pitta dosha imbalance
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation, diarrhea, or nausea in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
– Patients with severe liver, kidney, or gastrointestinal disorders should use cautiously.
– Should be avoided in cases of aggravated Pitta without medical supervision.
