Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Chandraprabha Vati (Sha.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation known for its broad spectrum of benefits in urinary, reproductive, metabolic, and endocrine disorders. It is highly effective in managing urinary tract infections, kidney stones, frequent urination, diabetes, reproductive system weakness, and joint pains. The medicine balances all three doshas, supports detoxification, strengthens immunity, and enhances overall vitality.

Method of Preparation :

Prepared as per Sharangdhar Samhita guidelines using a combination of more than 30 herbs and minerals including Shilajit, Guggulu, Chitraka, Daruharidra, Musta, Vacha, Haridra, Amalaki, Haritaki, Pippali, Maricha, Shunthi, and others. The ingredients are processed, blended, and compressed into tablet form by traditional Ayurvedic methods.

Dosage :

1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.

Indications :

• Urinary tract infections (UTI)
• Kidney stones and frequent urination
• Diabetes and urinary complications
• Male and female reproductive system weakness
• Joint pain and backache
• General debility and loss of strength

Side Effects :

Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation in sensitive individuals.

Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid unless prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
