About Mohari (Mustard) Tail:
Mustard oil, also known as Mohari or Rai Tail, is widely used in Ayurveda for both external application and internal therapeutic use. It is pungent, hot in potency, and is beneficial in balancing Vata and Kapha doshas while stimulating digestive and circulatory functions. Fresh herbs are used in the preparation process, making it a pure Ayurvedic medicine.
Therapeutic Uses:
- Digestive Health: Improves digestion strength and helps in worm infestation.
- Skin & Wounds: Useful in wounds, abscess, and swellings. Applied externally, it helps in pus formation (for incision & drainage), reduces slough, relieves pain and swelling.
- Neurological Disorders: In paralysis and neuromuscular weakness, mustard oil massage improves blood circulation and warmth.
- Arthritis & Joint Health: Applied as mustard paste, it relieves stiffness, pain, and improves joint flexibility (beneficial in rheumatoid arthritis).
- Skin Disorders: In itching and painful conditions, mustard paste provides relief. Mustard seed paste is applied for 5–10 minutes and then removed.
- Psychiatric Disorders: Mentioned in Ayurveda for certain mental health imbalances.

Dosage & Application:

- Special uses: Oil pulling (Gandusha / Kavala) and as base oil in Ayurvedic formulations.
Side Effects & Safety:
- Increases Pitta dosha, hence avoid in cases of burning sensation, bleeding disorders, gastritis, or excessive heat conditions.
- Safe for external use in all age groups.
- Use in children, pregnancy, and lactation only in small quantities under medical advice.
- Crude mustard oil may vitiate Rakta Dhatu (blood) and reduce Shukra Dhatu (semen).
- Not recommended in Pitta disorders due to pungent and hot potency.
Packing & Storage:
- Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
- Keep away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate.
- Expiry: 5 years from manufacturing date.
