About Mahamanjishtadi (Kwath) Kadha:

Mahamanjishtadi (Kwath) Kadha is a classical Ayurvedic liquid medicine widely used across India. It is valued for its effectiveness in treating skin diseases, gout, syphilis, non-healing wounds, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, and certain eye disorders.

Ayurvedic Properties:

Indications / Benefits:

  • Skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, and wounds

Dosage & Administration:

  • 12–24 ml, before food, preferably at about 6–7 am and 6–7 pm
  • Add equal amount of water to the Kwath/Kadha before consumption
  • Mix a pinch of long pepper powder and Guggulu while drinking to enhance benefits
  • Or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician

Pathya (Dietary Advice):

Consume broken rice with boiled vegetables and buttermilk. Avoid chillies, tamarind, and salt. Allowed items include rock salt, ghee, bitter gourd, elephant yam, plantains, green gram, ginger, and other light foods. For indigestion, take in 300 ml water boiled with 10 gm of black cumin.

Adjuvants:

Honey, Shuddha Gandhaka, Guggulu, or Rasasindooram.
