Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Gokshuradi Guggul (Sha.San.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation primarily used for urinary, kidney, and musculoskeletal health. It is highly effective in managing urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, inflammation, arthritis, joint pain, and Vata-Kapha imbalance. The medicine works by supporting renal function, reducing inflammation, strengthening muscles and bones, and promoting overall vitality.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Sharangdhar Samhita guidelines using Guggul (Commiphora mukul) along with herbs such as Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), Punarnava, Haritaki, Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and other supportive ingredients. The herbs and guggul are carefully processed, blended, and formed into guggul tablets or preparations.
Dosage :
1–2 tablets, once or twice daily with lukewarm water, milk, or as directed by the physician.

- Urinary tract disorders and kidney stones
- Arthritis, joint pain, and inflammation
- Vata-Kapha dosha imbalance affecting musculoskeletal and urinary systems
- Support for renal function and detoxification
- Strengthening bones and muscles
Side Effects :
Generally safe when taken under medical supervision. Overdose may cause mild gastric irritation, diarrhea, or nausea in sensitive individuals.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should use cautiously.
– Should be avoided in aggravated Pitta without medical supervision.
