Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage
Laxminarayan Ras (Bh.Rtn.) is a classical Ayurvedic formulation mentioned in Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It is mainly used in the management of fever, digestive disorders, and respiratory conditions. This medicine is effective in reducing fever, relieving cough and cold, improving appetite, and pacifying aggravated Vata and Kapha doshas. It also helps strengthen immunity and digestion.
Method of Preparation :
Prepared as per Bhaishajya Ratnavali guidelines using purified minerals and carefully selected herbs. The ingredients are processed together and converted into tablet form following traditional Ayurvedic methods.
Dosage :
1 tablet, once or twice daily with honey, ginger juice, or as directed by the physician.
Indications :
- Fever (Jvara)
- Cough and cold
- Loss of appetite and indigestion
- Respiratory problems
- Weakness due to chronic illness
Side Effects :
Should be taken only under medical supervision, as it contains mineral ingredients. Overdose may cause gastric irritation or complications.
Contra Indications :
– Not suitable for children without prescription.
– Pregnant and lactating women should avoid.
– Patients with severe kidney or liver disorders should consult an Ayurvedic doctor before use.
